Today's Pic: Mathilde in Moscow

Princess Mathilde of Belgium may be one of the less glamorous future queens in Europe but I find her elegant understatement to be always professional and always elegant. This week, she is in Moscow, where Russian First Lady Svetlana Medvedeva showed her around the Kremlin.

    Actually, I think the Belgians prefer more understated people. Princess Lilian certainly aroused much criticism for her glamor. So Mathilde may be striking just the right note for her audience.

    As a Belgian myself I can agree with Matterhorn.
    We prefer our royal dignified and in the background. (If only our politicians would do the same!)
